For SABIC Automotive Segment, EMEA we are looking for a Key Account Manager.
The Global Automotive Segment resides within the PP&IS (Performance Polymers & Industry Solutions) business, one of the 3 business groups that make up the Petrochemicals SBU. The Automotive Segment is focused on driving profitable growth along the entire Segment value chain for all of SABIC’s products (Petrochemicals and Specialties) and represents one face to the industry. There are in total ~135 employees working for the Automotive Segment globally with ~40 employees based in EMEA region. The Global Automotive team takes care of ~1.8bln$ revenue with an aggressive growth trajectory in place for the coming years.
The Trim Segment in EMEA deals with a variety of applications in Automotive Exteriors and Interiors, with a large portfolio of products incl. PP, PPc, ETP, SPEC.
JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Account Manager is commercially responsible for growing the business within SABIC´s Automotive Segment located out of UK, Sweden and Benelux.
You are responsible to identify, develop and close new business opportunities at Accounts, OEM’s and related TIER1’s within the dedicated areas and in particular in the Truck industry. In this role you need to find a good balance between strategic customer approach and short-term goals. You should develop a good relationship within all hierarchy levels at direct customers, converters, at specified (OEM’s) and within SABIC.
For this, you will be reporting into the Sr. Manager, Automotive Sales, West Europe, Nordic and Maghreb and work closely together with other departments like MDTS, Supply Chain, Product/Business Management, Marketing, T&I, etc.
