PP&IS Performance Measurement & Business Insights

The Performance Measurement & Business Insights department Measures, review and report comprehensive performance from Product level to the BU PP-IS to provide Business Insights to the leaders to improve Business impact. The PP&IS PMBI department covering around 50 profit center and +130 companies in Middle East and Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Americas. The department consists of a global virtual team of approximately 5 people, which are based in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Netherlands, China and US.

Functieomschrijving (inclusief taken en verantwoordelijkheden)

  • Drives the Managerial Performance Review Rhythm & Dialogue across the EXCOM, SBUs, BUs and Product leaders – MPR, QPR and Board updates.
  • Prepares enterprise-wide performance insights to SABIC EXCOM, Board & Shareholders within the context of SABIC’s internal performance versus business plans, market/industry trends and competitor benchmarks including taking seat at the quarterly earnings call.
  • Analysis/studies to uncover areas with chronic performance issues (across product/product groups and/or value chain process), keeps the SABIC Leadership up-to-date on these issues, and measuring implementation of corrective actions as directed by SABIC Leadership.
  • Measurement of the overall Impact of SABIC Transformation/Strategy Execution to SABIC’s bottom-line, including impact of specific enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Measurement of the realization of organizational STI and LTI score cards
  • Provides SBU & GCFs Leadership with performance insights/gaps and measures the performance within the context of SABIC’s internal performance versus business plans, market/industry trends and competitor benchmarks, along with realization from strategic initiatives.
  • Design, implementation and governance of the KPI-driven Enterprise Performance Measurement Framework for SABIC based on industry best practices.
  • Support the Business Planning Process through providing complete assessment of internal capabilities, potential and thus challenging the Business Plan assumptions.
  • Analyse and measure production cost by asset and assess profitability and find areas of improvment.

At this moment, we can offer this role only with a 1 year temporary contract. It may evolve and develop going forward, depending on the business needs and the way it adds value to the organization

Profiel van geschikte kandidaat

  • Bachelor's degree: a relevant subject such as Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Finance preferred
  • Professional qualification such as CMA
  • 5 to 10 years’ aggregate experience in Business Planning, Finance, Reporting, Controllership, Risk Management, Investment Planning and Decision support roles in a petrochemicals or industrial organization
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; multiple language ability an advantage
  • Strong communication and analytical thinking
